Ten Reasons to Live in a Small Village

We live in a very small village - population approx. 800.

10 Reasons Life is Good in a Small Town

1 - Everyone knows you.
2 - I can walk to the post office, the library, the gas station (for candy, pop, or cappucino), the hardware store, the elementary school, and the historical museum. Oh yeah, even the cemetary. :-)
3 - It's relatively safe. Crime is low.
4 - Not much traffic.
5 - People are friendly.
6 - We can walk to the playground at the school. Just one block north.
7 - Tree-lined sidewalks! (just for you, Jen! )
8 - Our church is less than half a mile away.
9 - We have a Rails-to-Trails about 2 blocks from our house that we can hike on.
10 - You can address mail to me and just put my name, city, and state, and I will get it!
